Standards & Objectives:
♦ Audience: The
standard 2 students
♦ Behavior: 1. Understand what is water
pollution.
2. Identify and describe different way water can become polluted.
3. Visit a nearby river to observe its content
4. Colour items in a picture
that can pollute water.
♦ Condition: Visit to nearby river. Lesson will take 30min.
♦ Degree: 100%
of the class should understand the lesson.
Select Media, Materials & Methods:
♦ Multimedia projector &
laptop: polluted and non polluted river.
♦ Non-projected Interactive
Media: Handouts with pictures to color that was taken from the internet.
♦ Videos: Ways to better the
Environment.
Utilize Media, Materials & Methods:
♦ Collect and setup
equipment and ensure it is working
♦ Begin lesson on adjectives by showing Power Point with pictures.
Allow children a chance to describe the pictures then explain what an adjective
is and how it is used.
♦ Students will write words
to describe the pictures using their note books and markers/pens.
♦ Use multimedia projector
and laptop computer to give definitions and show word that describes the pictures.

Required Learner Participation:
♦ Each student will be
graded on his/her participation and how well they interact in their group.
♦ Pupils will randomly be
called on to answer use adjectives describing different nouns (assistance would
be given if needed).
♦ Each group will evaluate the other groups work. (Teacher will
observe all members of the groups.)

Evaluate students performance through quizzes (verbal and oral)

♦ Evaluation of the media
components from teachers and students (hard, easy, interesting or not, good
idea or not) suggestions from students.
