♦ Age Range: 07-09 years old
♦ Ethnicity: 7 black,5 white and 4 east indian
Entry Competencies
♦ Children have some knowledge of water polluion
♦ Some children are misinformed about water
pollution.
Learning Styles:
- Ten(10) of the students are practical learners, while five(6) prefer visual learning( theory ) to deal with this project.
Auidience:
The audience will be the lower class of Standard Two (STD 2)
Behaviour:
1. Understand what is water pollution.
2. Identify and describe different way water can become polluted.
3. Visit a nearby river to observe its content
4. Colour items in a picture that can pollute water

The class will visit a nearby river that will take at most, forty - five minutes to get to by bus.
At that destination, we will be using a video recorder to record and take pictures of the state of the river and area. Also notes shall be taken.
Degree:
Students will be given the chance to give ideas on what can be done to prevent pollution in the rivers and what can be the harms of polluted water.

Utilize Media, Materials & Methods:
♦ Collect and setup
equipment and ensure it is working
♦ Begin lesson with pictures.
Allow children a chance to describe the pictures then explain what objectives can be made about the environment.
♦ Students will write words
to describe the pictures using their note books and markers/pens.
♦ Use multimedia laptop computer to give video documentry on water pollution
.The students will be presenting their work for the Standard Two class
Evaluation:
Evaluate student’s performance: Pupils would be given the oppurtunity to present their work and findings infront of teachers before going on to the STD 2 students.
Evaluate Media Component: The laptop and projector would be set up at least a hour before the lesson and video would be run to make sure that all is intact. All other resources would be placed on a table close to the teacher and some students.
